Most likely, the company expects a long-term break in relations, which could lead to the complete destruction of the HiSilicon division. This will lead to the fact that the server processors HiSilicon, as well as Kirin mobile chips will not. It is also questionable whether the company will be able to release Kirin 9.
Who has already refused to cooperate?
While the company continues to lose customers, in some countries of the world, operators have already refused to cooperate with a Chinese company. In particular, in the UK, telecom operators EE and Vodafone stopped accepting pre-orders for a number of smartphones with 5G support, namely Huawei Mate X. In Japan and Singapore, they decided to postpone the release. Spain has not yet made any decision on this matter.
Apparently, the company has already been expelled from the SD Card Association. In any case, the company is no longer on the list of consortium members.
