As you already understood, the design of this model is identical to the Apple Watch. The device has a rectangular case, the dimensions of which are 43 by 36 millimeters with rounded edges. The thickness is only 9 millimeters. Thanks to the choice of this form, an extensive set of information is placed on the screen. But we'll talk about this later. It is worth noting that the device weighs only 25 grams, which is an undoubted advantage of the new product. The base is made of aviation aluminum. Our model received blue and black colors, but there is also pink color, gold and gray. For us, the first two options are the most successful and are suitable for any clothes!

It is worth adding that on sale you can additionally purchase a strap of a different color, including white, black, blue. Each attracts many holes, which increases the target audience of customers. The strap is attached to the device’s case very reliably: it is easy to remove and put on it due to quick-detachable axes supplemented with special levers.

The 1.65-inch display is built on an OLED matrix with a resolution of 348 by 442 pixels with a density of 341 PPI. The display protects high-quality 2.5D Corning Gorilla 3 glass. A small 3.5 mm bezel can be seen at the edges.It is worth noting that the screen is bright and the image is clear even with direct sunlight. The light sensor works correctly. I am glad that the brightness level is automatically controlled: smoothly without jerking, which is typical for budget models. According to the manufacturer, the casing can withstand immersion up to 50 meters at a pressure of 5 atmospheres.

On the right side, you can notice the multifunction button with which the display is turned on / off. In the settings, you can set an additional function for this key, which will work when you hold the button.

Below there are 2 sensors installed in a round ledge. This is done to achieve a snug fit indicators to the user's hand. Nearby are 2 contacts for charging the gadget.

After turning on the smart watch, a rich data set is immediately displayed on the main screen. You can see the time, date, weather immediately for a week, the number of calories burned, energy reserve, heart rate data.

At the choice of users there are two options for displaying the dial: dial and digital. Regardless of the time display option, each of the interfaces is attracted by the flexible configuration of additional parameters, including the display of the main menu, notes, compass and other information.

If there are not many predefined options, you can use the Amazfit proprietary application, where several dozens of different themes are available. But it is worth remembering that at the same time you can only use three design options. Connecting to a smartphone is carried out using the same application. After the first synchronization, users are invited to create an account or log into an existing one. There is access to a quick login to Xiaomi, the social network Facebook and others.

Further, the standard procedure for setting up smart watches is carried out, which involves entering key data:

Using swipe down, you can open the auxiliary menu where you can see the percentage of battery charge, the status of connecting the gadget to the smartphone. In addition, in the submenu it is possible to turn on the flashlight, adjust the brightness level, lock the screen. If you want, you can specify the time when you go to bed and start the night mode, that is, turn off the device’s response to gestures in the dark.

Swipe left and right is looped - that is, with one action the pedometer is started, and with a double swipe we return to the main screen menu. You can increase the layout to 7 screens, which is very convenient. Anyway, sophisticated users will appreciate this option.

As you already understood, the manufacturer decided to limit himself to the basic set of options. In the review of smart watches Amazfit GTS you will definitely not see something new. There is a round-the-clock heart rate monitor, you can track the number of steps and the quality of sleep. In addition, it is easy to control the music, display notifications and separate attention deserves the tracking of sports activity.

Based on personal experience, we can say that GPS works fine even in densely built-up areas. Another advantage of the model is the automatic tracking of arrhythmia. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi support is not provided.The global version also lacks an NFC-module for contactless payments, but this is not surprising, given the price of the device.

Despite the presence of a bright screen with good color reproduction, the battery life of the Amazfit GTS model is kept at a high level. In standard mode, when you receive up to 50 notifications per day, the model loses only 5% of the charge. In general, in Always On mode, GPS can be dispensed with without a charger for about 2-3 weeks.

It is worth saying that when you turn on the GPS, the smart watch runs out much faster. An average of 10% in one hour. Therefore, with intensive use, you can "plant the battery" in just 9-11 hours. But this is a good indicator.

In the end, I would like to share my personal impressions of using the Amazfit GTS smartwatch. Firstly, I liked the accuracy of the pedometer. For 1000 meters, the maximum error was around 5 steps. I can confidently say that hand movements do not count.

The battery capacity of 220 mAh is more than enough. In any case, I, since GPS is not actively used.

Sleep tracking is efficient. The application collects data, analyzes data, comparing with the indicators of previous days. It is possible to enter the data yourself when you feel good, in order to receive recommendations on the subject of relaxation after training, for example. By the way, the application compares your data with the results of other users.

Notifications come to the phone promptly. In this case, the vibration level is normal. During a call, the contact’s number or name appears on the smart watch. You can reject the call, mute the phone. In ergonomics, there are no problems either, wearing a watch and sleeping with them is convenient, and this is one of the main parameters, as it seems to me.

Summing up the review of Amazfit GTS smart watches, we can say that these smart watches have a premium design, an optimal set of options and a high level of ease of use at a loyal price. The device has an extensive target audience: from ordinary customers to professional athletes. The interface is convenient and intuitive. There are many topics in the online application collection. There are few options, but there are interesting ones. For example, the amount of gasoline saved when traveling by bike or on foot. In general, the creative approach of the manufacturer and a competent strategy for promoting the smart watch market is difficult to praise. In general, my girlfriend is completely satisfied with the purchase, we have been wearing them for a month already on an ongoing basis!
