When to wait for a novelty?
Information about the possible release of the new sensor was shared by the well-known insider Ice universe, referring to the documentation from an anonymous informant. There, it is said that the South Korean manufacturer is preparing a new sensor with 144 megapixels. Apparently, the model will be created using the 14-nm process technology.
Unfortunately, there are no details about the new sensor yet. There is reason to believe that the module will not be released earlier than in the second quarter of the year. Perhaps even at the beginning of 2021.
