What to expect from LPDDR4X RAM?
It is known that the new RAM module for smartphones from Samsung will consist of 6 sixteen gigabyte chips. At the same time, the speed remains unchanged relative to LPDDR4 - 4266 Mb / s. What is the essence of the update then - you ask! The fact is that thanks to the new process technology, the RAM area will become smaller, which greatly simplifies the staffing of telephone elements inside the case.
Unfortunately, at the moment it is not known which of the brand's smartphones will be the first to receive updated RAM. We can assume that 12 gigabytes of LPDDR4X will appear in the new version of the Galaxy S and in the flagship Galaxy S10 5G. According to preliminary data, the latter will also receive 512 GB eUFS 3.0, the production of which the company began in February 2019.
