For a couple of months (from February to April), 14 branded programs were removed. In particular, Home Launcher, HTC Mail, Speak, Dot View, Calendar and others. Currently, the company refuses to comment on such a decision. At the same time, one can notice that those programs that were not updated for a long time were deleted. Accordingly, you should not rush to conclusions. Perhaps the manufacturer is preparing alternative software that will be in great demand. However, to exclude the likelihood that the company decided to abandon the unprofitable production of gadgets is also not worth it. Probably soon we will find out the details. There are several options: either the company will release new products on pure Android, or abandon the phone, or make new software as part of Android One.
