Asia Nikkei has circulated information according to which the Chinese technology maker intends to release smart TVs not only in 8K format, but also with 5G support. There are no such analogues yet.
What to expect from Huawei smart TVs
Judging by the information of representatives of the specified media, Huawei is working on a whole line of new smart TVs. At the same time, only a number of devices will receive support for 8K resolution. If you do not know, then this format assumes 16 times more pixels per inch than Full HD. However, the key "chip", of course, is the support of fifth-generation networks. It should be implemented by installing the Balong 5000 processor. It is this chip that is embedded in the flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 20 X and a foldable Mate X phone.
Promising TVs are positioned as a center for managing smart home. Due to the high-speed network, it will be possible to connect other gadgets to it. According to preliminary data, the presentation of a new generation of televisions will take place this year. Naturally, one can’t expect a reasonable price. But it's twice as good as top 4K TVs and there are no analogues to such devices due to 5G support. Probably the price will vary up to 120 thousand dollars.
